CPL(A) modular course

MODULAR COURSE FOR COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE (AEROPLANES) WITH INSTRUMENT RATING, MULTI-ENGINE LANDPLANES RATING

 

The purpose of the modular course for Comercial Pilots Licence CPL (A) consists of the training of pilots up to a level of competence to enable them to act as copilot in multi-engine and multi pilot aircraft for airline commercial transport, and at the same time obtain the Commercial Pilot’s Licence (Aircraft)

 

Entry requirements

 

        An applicant shall be the holder of a PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1;

        Have completed 150 hours flight time as a pilot; and

        Have complied with JAR–FCL 1.225 and 1.240 if a multi-engine aeroplane is to be used on the skill test.

 

TRAINING SYLLABUS

Flying training is divided into modules, of which the first correspond to the visual flight training CPL(A) and the second to the might training module, the third to instrument flight training with the option of multiengine aircraft.

 

 

Module Night Flights : Objectives

Obtain flight skills necessary to operate aircrafts at night.

The anticipated duration of there exercises is one (1) week and an approximate flight time of five (5) hours.

 

Module Basic instrument flight module: Objectives

Obtain basic skills in flying solely by instruments.

Certificate of completion of Basic instrument flight module will be issued.

The anticipated  duration of there exercises is one (1) week and an approximate flying time of ten (10) hours.

Module Proceduras instrument flight module: Objectives

Enhance instrument flying skills to obtain instrument raiting (IR).

The anticipated duration of these exercises is four (4) weeks and the approximate flying time is forty (40) hours.

Module Multiengine aircraft flight module: Objectives

Obtain skils necessary to operare multiengine aircrafts.

The anticipated duration of these exercises is one (1) week and the approximate flying time is six (6) hours.

Module Multiengine instrument flight module: Objectives

Obtain skils necessary to obtain multiengine instrument rating (MEP/IR).

The anticipated duration of these exercises is one (1) week and the approximate flying time is five (5) hours.

Module CPL(A): Objectives

Obtain flight skills necessary to operate commercial aircrafts.

The expected duration of these exercises is four (4) weeks and the flying time is approximately twenty five(25) hours.
